I offer violin lessons to a range of players, from total beginners to very advanced. In the decade I’ve spent teaching, I’ve worked with children as young as seven to adults in their sixties. My teaching style is rooted in the belief that anyone can learn to play an instrument and that each person has a unique set of strengths and challenges. I not only provide violin lessons in classical technique and repertoire, I also teach improvisation and am happy to help students learn music in alternative genres. I cater my lessons to the individual needs of the student so that they are able to succeed in their own way.  Whether a student would like to learn the violin simply to enrich their life or would like to pursue it seriously, I will support them on the path they choose.  I think learning music is an incredible way to nurture creativity as well as perseverance, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Lesson Structure and Rates

I charge a tuition which is split into flat monthly payments. My rates are as follows:

-30-minute weekly lessons: $260 per month

-45-minute weekly lessons: $320 per month

-60-minute weekly lessons: $380 per month
